One Snowy Day

April has been crazy month for the weather here in Utah. One day it's 80 degrees and two days later we wake up to over a foot of snow at our house. I figured I would post these pictures as my final( I hope) goodbye to winter. I am ready to play outside and work in my yard. I just want to be warm again. So here's to the first sunburn of the year- Bring it on!!!

My mom and dad came to spend an early Christmas with us at their Provo house. We had such a great time and can't wait until their next visit.

FALL DISCOVERY

If you have never been up Mapelton Canyon you need to take a drive. It is very small and when you get to the end of the road you will find a great little campground with a stream running through it, and a trail head. The trail doesn't allow 4 wheelers so we took a little hike. I was reminded once again why Fall is my Favorite season. I found lots of leaves to press and Clint gave me a hard time about how he "already can't open a single book in our house without finding dead leaves". Well the scenery was beautiful. Here are some of our favorite pictures from that morning.

Introducing Cooper and Katie. Cooper is a five year old Weimaraner and Katie is a five month old Great Dane. I grew up with dogs and I made the mistake of thinking that all large breed dogs are mellow. Not the case with Cooper. He is the most hyper dog I have ever met and he's mine. Everyone told us to just give him time and he will grow out of the hyper puppy stage, but five years later- we are still waiting. Katie is very sweet and lovable (when she is not trying to steal food off the kitchen counter or climb up on our bed to claim her half). I would like to say we are making good progress on training them, but I'm pretty sure they are making better progress with the training of us.
